Under the WSH Act 2006, (Scaffolds), it is mandatory for all persons who want to be a scaffold supervisor to undergo training approved by the Commissioner for Workplace Safety & Health from the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
Upon completion of the course, you will be able to identify and clearly explain the following:
- Material Requirements for scaffolding
- Safety in erection and dismantling of scaffold including hazard identification and risk assessment
- The WSH Act 2006 (Scaffolds)
- Prepare and implement the scaffold inspection checklist
- Requirements, purposes and key points for consideration when selecting different types of scaffolds
Pre-requisites
- These are the admission requirements:
- Physically fit and above 18 years old
- Participants must provide a copy of their scaffold erectors certificate from any MOM Accredited Training Provider
- Safety shoes and proper attire (no singlet/ shorts/ bermudas) are COMPULSORY for all

Results will be released 10 working days after course ends. Upon completion of the course and passing the examination, an
e-Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and a Safety Pass from NTUC LearningHub will be awarded to you.
