This training programme aims to train the learners to conduct basic maintenance of hybrid/electrical vehicles and implement the maintenance regime for hybrid/electric vehicles.
Course Objectives
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Outline the overview on hybrid/electric vehicles.
- Describe the basic electrical and electronics principles.
- Distinguish the overview of the system layout and basic bus electrical and electronic architecture functions.
- Identify the types of components and parts of bus electrical and electronic systems and subsystems.
- Use the different types of Personal Protective Equipment while performing corrective maintenance work.
- Perform corrective maintenance work by safely operating the various types of tools and equipment.
- Conduct corrective maintenance activities.
- Document maintenance activities performed on bus electrical and electronic systems in accordance with maintenance and fault reporting procedures.
Pre-requisites
Learners are assumed to have:
- NTC 2 or NITEC with 3 years of related working experience
