Course Overview
This unit of competency specifies the knowledge, skills and attitudes required of a Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Officer to establish a common set of Attitudes, Behaviours and Competencies (ABC), according to the cultureSAFE Model, within the organisation as a basis of achieving WSH excellence.
Who Should Attend
This course is relevant to those who would like to attain the Specialist Diploma in WSH, which is part of the certification requirement under the WSH Act, in order to be a WSH Officer.

Total Training Hours: 16 hours
Course Outline
- Examine the organisations WSH culture profile to determine strengths and areas of improvement
- Develop a WSH culture programme based on the identified strengths and areas of improvement
- Formulate a proposal for the organisation to adopt a WSH culture
- Implement the proposed WSH Culture programme
- Monitor the implementation in accordance with the programme specifications
