Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Design and Media by NAFA

This is a one-year top-up course for diploma graduates, offered in collaboration with University of Central Lancashire, UK. Students will have the opportunity to spend 2-3 weeks in the UK, where they will expand their learning experience through mass lectures, collaborative projects, dialogues and exchanges with staff and students from the University of Central Lancashire.

BA (Hons) Design and Media is a programme geared towards developing your professional edge and built upon diploma studies in advertising, graphic design, illustration, animation and screen media. The course focuses on a holistic study experience that is practice-led, adopting an integrated approach that is process and idea driven.

Learning Outcomes

• Foster creative behaviours and attitudes across the multidisciplinary landscape of the design and media landscape
• Develop intellectual ability to interconnection as well as balance between theory, practical and design intuition for applications
• Refine application and execution skills to convey design solutions with insights drawn from broad based and multidisciplinary design references across media platforms
• Develop sensitivity to critically appraise problem and/or design solutions for effective communications
• Build awareness around social and cultural factors with a global perspective
• Enable independent learning through developing learning contracts and engaging in self-reflection
