This is a one-year top-up course for diploma graduates, offered in collaboration with University of Central Lancashire, UK. Students will have the opportunity to spend 2-3 weeks in the UK, where they will expand their learning experience through mass lectures, collaborative projects, dialogues and exchanges with staff and students from the University of Central Lancashire.

 

BA (Hons) 3D Design Practice is a programme geared towards developing your professional edge and built upon diploma studies in furniture, jewellery and object design. The course is designed to develop understanding on the theoretical, technical, cultural and contextual aspects of design practice in the multidisciplinary area of 3D design.

 

Learning Outcomes

  • Acquire the ability to work across the spectrum of 3-Dimensional Design, generating new ways of thinking
  • Explore the relations and variety of individual approaches through craftsmanship, design, production and theory
  • Develop 3-Dimensional ideas through a diversity of skills, methodologies and processes
  • Develop practical skills and the confidence to pursue a breadth of processes, modelling, fabrication, moulding and construction
