Course Overview
The Ministry of Manpower requires all first-time Migrant Domestic Workers (MDWs) to attend the Settling-In Programme (SIP), conducted in English or in the MDW's native languages. The SIP aims to better orientate and equip MDWs with basic knowledge about living and working safely in Singapore.
Course Objectives
At the end of the course, leaners will be able to:
- adapt well to work and live in Singapore.
- understand the conditions of employment.
- work safely at home and outside.
- manage their relationship and stress management.
Pre-requisites
The admission requirements are:
- Read, write, and speak in their mother tongue or English language
- Age from 23 to below 50 years old during the Work Permit application
- Minimum 8 years of formal education with a recognised certificate

Certificate Obtained and Conferred by
Upon meeting the attendance and assessment(s) criteria, participants will be awarded with a digital Certificate of Completion (COC).
