This course aims to provide the learner with generic knowledge, principles and application skills in Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) techniques. The learner is expected to be equipped with the following skills upon completion of the course.

• Identify Types of failure analysis techniques
• Appraise the procedures for failure analysis techniques.
• Ascertain the appropriate failure analysis techniques.

• ‘O’ Level educational qualification

Course Outline

• Identify Types of failure analysis techniques.
• Identify appropriate failure analy-sis techniques.
• Prepare to apply the design and process of FMEA relating to the organization FMEA procedures and related industries standard.
• Conduct failure analysis techniques as per procedures for failure analysis techniques.
• Interpret failure analysis results.
• Perform follow-up and continual maintenance of FMEA document as determined in the organization FMEA procedure.
